Throughout our lives we are taught how to gain things e.g. education, career etc but when the inevitable losses come along in our life, we have not been taught how to deal with them, so that we can recover from them. Instead, we are given a lot of mis-information and in some cases unhelpful comments that can stay with us for a lifetime, by well meaning people who themselves, by no fault of their own, have not been taught how to deal with a loss, which can prevent us from healing. The courses below give us the tools to recover from our losses.
We offer the following courses, on Zoom, on overcoming significant emotional loss, as follows:-
- Grief Recovery Method – For Groups (eight sessions) – for any significant loss such as bereavement, job loss, divorce, relationship break up, moving house, loss of health and any other of the 40 or so losses we could have over a lifetime
- Grief Recovery Method – One to One sessions (seven sessions) – this course is run as one to one sessions and covers any losses you may have had (as mentioned in the Group course above)
- Pet Loss – Group or One to One (six sessions) – loss of a beloved pet causes bereavement and we run courses and individual sessions to recover from your loss
- Helping Children deal with loss – Group or One to One (six sessions) – if you are a parent or guardian or work with children, this course will give you the tools to say the right things and help the child get completion with their loss
- What to say to a recently bereaved person – two hour course – on request
